Rev Johanna Warren was inducted into the Feilding Oroua Parish on 6 August 2016. She came to us from Blenheim but is a North Islander by birth. After ministry training in Dunedin she was ordained in 1995, and this is her third parish appointment.
Johanna usually leads worship in Knox on the first three Sundays of the month and goes to St James Kimbolton on the fourth Sunday. Her style is a relaxed service in which there is interaction among congregation, the children and with her. She likes good hymn singing, especially the newer New Zealand material published by the NZ Hymnbook Trust. Johanna is a biblical preacher generally following the Revised Common Lectionary.
Worship with children as well as adults is an important part of Johanna’s ministry, and in Knox she is developing a warm relationship with the leaders of our Sunday children’s church.
Johanna is often in the church office and welcomes your questions. If you wish her to visit you at home please just ask.
